April 1, 2025 Consolidated Election

Three four-year term positions are open for election to the Seneca Public Library District Board of Trustees during the April 1, 2025 Consolidated Election.

Candidates need to file nomination papers with the library district between November 12 and 18, 2024. The library will complete a Certify the Names of the Candidates to appear on the ballot with both LaSalle and Grundy counties.

Candidate packets are available at the library and online. Visit the Illinois State Board of Elections for additional information.

Important Dates to Remember

August 20, 2024 – first day to circulate petitions.
November 12-18, 2024 – filing period for candidates seeking election.
April 1, 2024 – voting for the consolidated election.
